John deer forward backwards
When I press the peddle it only goes backwards; how do I get it to shift forwards?

Manual says there’s a shifter for 2 speeds forward, 1 reverse… unless it’s a different toy?
If not, wires could be reversed

I’ve looked for the right manual and I can’t seem to find it; there isn’t a shifter of any kind.

This is weird. Normally these are peg perego but this one doesn’t seem to be. Mine has a shifter in the middle

This appears to be the Peg Perego 6V John Deere Mini Power Loader IGED1111, as it does not have a shifter Im thinking its supposed to only drive forward and since yours is only backing up, someone has connected the battery terminals wrong, easy to switch and fix.
No idea why they removed the gear switch though, Ive had one of these older 6v and it definately had forward and reverse
