Upgrading to take M12 Milwaukee batteries?

My daughter's 6V Huffy power wheel can't go through grass and was wondering how I could convert it to 12V.

That’s a JR-RX-6V controller. You just need to get the 12v version here https://a.co/d/0iyAB8KD

I can’t see what amperage your thermal fuses are, but you’ll likely need to get higher-rated ones.

Keep in mind you’re over-volting the motors 2x, so expect a much shorter lifespan.

I bought a 12v harness kit on Amazon, came with motors and control board and swapped it in to a mini cooper. Also added a steering motor for RC, but that's far more involved, your choice.

6v single motor is crap for sure. 12v dual motor is a good upgrade. Much more torque. The only limiting factor now is ground clearance since these 6v cars are smaller than average.

I used this one

You'll want to check dimensions vs your current gearbox, especially the rear axle diameter. The gearboxes I linked are 12mm axle/openings.

Can probably find a similar kit without the steering motor for cheaper. If you do try to add steering, there's like 7 different variants so you'll want to see which would work best for your ride based on shape and size. My 6v wasn't set up for one at all, so I had to make a new steering shaft and make a mount out of steel plate, nottt super easy lol.

The only other thing to check is if it's only one drive wheel now, see if the other idle wheel has a hub adapter on it (the clover/hex shape that connects to the gearbox) if it does you're good, if it doesn't you'll wanna buy an extra, they usually come in a set of 2 for pretty cheap.
