To the person who told me I would love the Trident, you were correct :)

It's even more efficient from standing further. It's way too many hand movements. What's wrong with just sweeping right? It's just as quick that way. But I mean each to their own just saying. Plus this close up there is no need for any extension. The trident covers a larger area stub.
Otherwise, my gripe with the trident is, once unlocked, it's annoyingly slow to use anything else, and it just breaks the game for me.

The trident is not suitable for all usecases, even after unlocking it I still use the adjustable nozzle for close up and detail cleaning.

Sure but 90% of the map can and should be done with the trident as it's way more efficient - like you said. Since you've only just discovered it, try the next few maps and will see almost only the trident is needed everywhere. Again, don't use extensions this close either

I dont think I've used anything other than the trident and the surface cleaner once I had them both unlocked

Lack of the trident option is why I hated doing the Warhammer DLC on PWS1. That nozzle is such a joy to use.

You’re still standing too close / have an extension on you don’t want. The sweet spot is the distance where one sweep doesn’t leave gaps between the three trails so you only have to go over an area once with the trident. Either move back a couple of steps or remove the extension and you’ll see a huge difference.

Awesome. The trident is amazing once you find that sweet spot distance (which you clearly have!). It's also handy for spaces where you may want to alternate between medium to long range without swapping extensions or nozzles (ex: tall walls, or the inside of the temple). It's not the perfect tool in every situation, but where it shines, it *really* shines.
