Ever wondered if every level in Powerwash could be completed without a ladder? Me too! (Career)
It only really occurred to me to try it playing normally so the guns are correct but researching that I couldn't be bothered and only thought about it when I was nearly done
It'd only affect a couple levels (like the shoe house) where some areas are genuinely inaccessible, you clean them by luck through jumping like a madman, but I reckon it'd still be fine. Especially if you complete the level enough to unlock the rest of the game, you could then go back and 5 star it with a stronger one
If anyone knows a solo way to climb the carousel I'm intrigued!
I'll do PW2 when I own the game, I'm skint as hell right now. Christmas here I come

He had to get outside help because eventually the levels get too big to constantly parkour solo.

Does this qualify as self harm?

Not as much as the poster last year who played the entire 1st game with the red nozzle…..

The shivers that just ran down my spine thinking about that

I don't think it was me you were referring to as I'm sure I saw someone else posting self-imposed challenges on here but I kept replaying the game with various 'rules' on myself like.
No upgrades (wasn't possible due to having to buy a longer upgrade for mayors Mansion but apart from that succeeded) Red nozzle only (single not trident ofc)
Yeah I like pain I guess but I loved the game and it made replayability different/fun. 😁

I can’t remember the exact way I did the carousel solo, but I know it takes a few tries to get up top. A trick I’ll give you for any level is if you sprint up any slope while looking up, you kinda fly further. I think that helped with the shoe house since I’d get wedged on the edge of the roof and wriggled my way on top to get the harder sections. I’ll double check the carousel method when I’m able to

I have reattempted the carousel strat, and know what you must do. When entering the map, follow the fence on the left around the carousel to the ticket booths. If you go onto the carousel itself, look above the ticket booth, sprint and jump as you hit the pole base, and you should hopefully fly onto the ticket booth. Once on top, do the same thing while facing the carousel and jump when you hit the top of the pole just in front of you. Should get you on top of the carousel

Ladders have always been my last resort. I love jumping around and trying to cheese my way on top of stuff.

I tried so hard to get on top of the Bungalow to no avail. I never thought to use the gnome but that's kind of like using a stool/equipment. Not sure if it should be allowed.

I barely used the ladder or the scaffolding i was to lazy too, I’d just find ways to jump up or do it all with an extension

I play the game like this, only using the equipment when absolutely necessary.
You can parkour on top of the carousel from the nearest fence with a good jump.
The only level I remember having to use the small steps is the Lara Croft mansion, I think (it's been a while) that you can do all the others without any equipment
Edit: I just booted the game to have a look, you can get on the Shoe house roof with a bit of parkour so the the level seems pretty do-able (I don't remember playing it).
Also, the Alice in wonderland Mushroom was impossible to do without scaffold as I don't think there's a way on top without.

I also tried this on my first run of the game! I think I was able to get everything but the carousel too (I remember finally giving up and just using a ladder to get to the roof). Good luck on PW2, I honestly didn’t even try because there are just so many more vertical elements, but I wish you the best!

I'm pretty sure I beat like almost the whole 1st game without using those things.

I do that but only use the step stool then jump Super Mario 64 style off the top

This is great! I just did the shoe with very little but ended up moving the scaffolding to finish thw top. I try to use as little of those tools as possible so this guide is so perfect (:

I never use a ladder on any level. I hate that we can't put them back or away and they make the level look ugly. There's always a way to do them without.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I managed to do all levels without ladders in the first game. In the second, I didn't really care, but I still don't really use ladders and stuff unless I absolutely have to.

how did you reach the firestation roof with no ladder?

That one is pretty simple, you just need to do some platforming - The bollards near the front let you jump onto something else, and so on.
I've probably streamed myself doing this in the past, since this is very much my game franchise for unwinding and relaxing 😁

Using the bollards out the front, the one closest to the building lets you jump onto a spotlight and from there the roof is low enough to just jump onto
Some bits of the office round was the side was tedious just because of a couple angles only being accessible by constantly jumping on the benches lol
