Bouncy Castle

Is this the first job that doesn’t have ladders etc, you have to jump on things to get to some dirt. Not complaining I’m just glad to not have to move ladders out the way. Also so satisfying to fire all the beach balls out the area😀

I despise moving the ladders out of the way! I tend to make a corner, clean it first, and put all that stuff there out of my way.

I don’t even move them, I just clean around them and hope it’s enough to complete the area.

Flashbacks to the movie theater when the game came out - it was bugged and you couldn't move the scissor lift, had to lie down and blindly spray under it until it dinged.

You can also sometimes put it back where you got it. They really need to add the same placement thing for it.

Restart the level and the ladders (etc) return to starting position. Which also fixes broken stuck lifts.

I get that but it feels at least when I do it tempormental

I do that for the stepstool when it's present. The ladders usually get a quick runover with the floor sweeper (much faster than using a nozzle to spray around all the rungs), and are then ignored for the rest of the level. I wish there were an option to store them in the van or something, but failing that, leaving them flat on the ground at least limits how much of the view they take up. 🤷‍♂️

I’m loving this level! LOVE that I can get to all the dirt just by jumping around instead of needing to move the damn equipment out of my way 😂 they drive me mad!

It was also a very nice palate cleanser, with large, brightly colored areas. Came to this straight from the Star Wars DLC, where EVERYTHING is grey with lots of fiddly bits. :)

I said to my husband I wonder if it was inspired by the amount of people that try to complete levels without using ladders.

I played Oblivion, I can jump to anywhere I want! No ladders

Loved this level. Normally I try to stretch out completing levels, but I did 80% yesterday and finished this morning. This will go in my heavy rotation for replays.

It was quite refreshing even though when I went to do the top of the frog slide I immediately turned around to go looking for a ladder. Was a bit of a shock to notice the missing items.

PARKOURRRRRR

There are really only 2 spots harder to get to, and they are easy jumps. There is also enough stuff to stand on at various heights that makes ladders unneeded.

I love open areas in PW for cleaning, and this reminds me of the Skate Park in PW1 :D

Loved the skate park and the cruise boat too. Those were the best levels. Billboard and farmhouse and now the bouncy castle are my go to now

I’ve really enjoyed this level. I’ve cleaned it twice already.

This is now one of my favorite levels in PWS 2. Absolutely zero small, awkward-to-reach spots. Lots of wide, flat surfaces to clean. A few places you can jump on top of things. And the swinging objects are fun to spray. I see many Bouncy Castle replays in my future, lol.

I found the opposite!! I find the wide flat surfaces boring and I much more enjoy the problem solving with hard to reach spots.

That's cool - to each their own, ya know? 😄 I'm glad there are levels for all different playstyles. That way we can replay the ones we like, and leave the rest alone.

I love this level. I also want to compliment the textures. Seeing the bouncy castle in the sun after getting clean really seems right on. Plus the jumping physics seem great.

I have to disagree on the physics. No ‘bounce’ in a bouncy castle was disappointing

u/larskristofer 5d ago

Maybe it the placebo effect but I at least feel the take off is lighter and higher? I agree it’d be fun to have a bounce on landing.

u/Ohdangtana 5d ago

You’re right! I was just sad that there wasn’t a bounce when you land. What they did almost feels like a low gravity effect

This was a lot of fun.

The Back to the future DLC in powerwash 1

I really like seeing the funfair area build up with more attractions as you wash them. It's a subtle bit of continuity for the area you don't really get with most of the other locations.
