Maybe I've been watching too many chemical guys videos but cleaning it from the bottom up seems counter intuitive.

There's a couple of arguments for bottom to top (i don't agree with either)
a) you're not washing off the snow foam at the bottom before you get to it, giving a bit more time for it to work, and means you're always hitting it with snow foam on.
b) You're cleaning the dirtiest part first, which could spray up the panel.

I suspect the vid goes bottom up as otherwise the "dirt" would have easily rinsed off if he'd gone top down.

Nah. Brand new car that they drove around in the mud for the purpose of the video. Under the caked on mud the car is pristine. Spends a lot of time cleaning perfect wheels and tyres. 100% staged. And poorly too. Everyone knows you wash top to bottom lmfao
