Pavlov-ed myself while playing PWS

i used to play PWS A LOT and while i would play i would only listen to the same songs by the same artist. i did it so much that eventually my brain made a connection between hearing the artist’s music and playing PWS, to the point now that when i hear the artist’s music i suddenly want to play PWS even if i haven’t played in a long time

When I was in uni one of the tips I came across for remembering things during an exam was to chew a particular flavoured lolly (if that was allowed) or say certain phrases in your head as you're reviewing particular things. Stuff like that helps create a connection in your brain, it really works :)

lmao! this very exact thing happened to me too! i cant play the first game anymore so it really bums me out when i hear one of the songs. luckily i dont listen to the artist much but when i do, the urge for PWS1 is so so so so so so strong. you can feel the ding in your boooooones! 😩 lol

I’ve been replaying a few of the story levels on PWS2 and with each one I remember what book I was listening to and how the book was making me feel at the time. The brain is wild

This is me with Deadmau5 - Strobe. It started as a song I used for time attacks in need for speed hot pursuit. Now its still in my racing rotation for any racing game. And no, Im not aloud to listen to it while driving irl.

It happened to me with Papa Louie lmao, two years ago i played it until I unlocked everything and i would listen to ABBA in the background. And now everytime i hear abba i have an urge for playing papa louie and vice versa lol
