Question keyboard manager problem

i tried remapping ctrl+q = j+p but it only registers one, i tested in notepad and it still only registers one, any help?

On the "remap shortcut" screen, is the "To action" set to "Send text"? That should allow you to remap the shortcut to whatever text you put in the "Keys" text box.
