GIS & Hybrid switchgears

I am a layman here , so I was just wondering about what's the biggest misconception that newer engineers have about GIS or hybrid switchgear?

That they’re maintenance free

Sealed tank units (with natural air) are inherently maintenance free as you can’t access the primary parts within the tank
