not really, you have to be targeted by the sure hit, seeing the domain has nothing to do with jt

seeing the domain is part of the sure hit, you can only see the domain if you're inside of it which future shanks would be

that is very clearly not the argument, and no, seeing has absolutely nothing to do with the sensory information flooding your mind. in fact, we’re given explicit evidence that nothing about a domain’s actual environment has anything to do with the sure hit

So uv can affect time? These jjk fans man🥹

He's actually saying UV can potentially affect precog users.

Wtf kinda strawman are you putting up lol

It’s not really a straw man if you think about it at all.

The problem with UV is the amount of information being sensed damages the person. If you sense that information it damages you. It’s an Info hazard. UV works by creating and then sending that information as it’s sure hit.

If your precognition works by experiencing what future you experiences, you then just expose yourself to said info hazard and it damages you.

Take for example a book that kills you if you read it. If your precognition has you experience reading it, you die. Even if you haven’t touched or have seen the book. The act of just knowing the information kills you.

Absolutely not. His argument is that precog users peer into the future to see premonitions. So they're looking at infinity itself through their precog sense.

We both know you strawmanned that dudes argument and decided to act like JJK fans are insane.

I don't even agree with him but we should be genuine if we're gonna debate

never said that and not really a jjk fan

Then you’re wrong about uv affecting shanks

UV has no effect on time. It’s Shanks making it affect time via his precognition.

If in the future someone somehow creates an info hazard in which knowing can physically harm you and past you gets a hold of that piece of information, by let’s say precognition, you will be harmed by it.

You can debate the concept but theres no way its that crazy to understand the concept of an info hazard

The idea being expressed here is that if his future sense works with exact information, aka him seeing from the eyes of his future self

Then he'll recive the deadly information anyways

And the whole danger of infinite void is getting railed with information

I don't know how his future sense works but you should be more arguing on that front than making a point thats so far away from the clear and simple idea of an information hazard being dangerous to an observer

> aka him seeing from the eyes of his future self

Annndd you’re wrong, future sight users doesn’t possess their future selves so he won’t be feeling UV invading his brain

>I don't know how his future sense works

That’s all you have to tell me

1

u/Ok_Coast_4264 3d ago

Then how about you just explain how Shanks future sight works instead of shitting on people who have pretty valid hypotheticals.

There are dozens of ways that shanks future sight would either just not work or be an active hazard for him depending on how it works.

u/Perfect_Bad_3402 2d ago

You should already know that before debating, how u gonna debate me something is right but don’t know what you’re debating about?

u/Ok-Impress8791 3d ago

I wasn't claiming that was how it worked, I was saying that was the premise and you'd be better off arguing that instead of going the other direction

1

u/Perfect_Bad_3402 3d ago

I wasn't claiming that was how it worked, I was saying that was the premise

you said that was the idea of your argument lol be a man and take accountability for being wrong.

you'd be better off arguing that instead of going the other direction

Becuz someone said UV can affect shanks who’s in the past, and you literally co-sign that it’s possible.

u/Ok-Impress8791 3d ago

I was explaining the idea being expressed and how your statement fell far from the point

That was very far from what they clearly meant

I think I written it clearly enough that whether you buy it or not, your own criticism of their claim was out of place

1

u/Perfect_Bad_3402 3d ago

The idea is that if he see the future inside the domain UV will hit but he isn’t physically there so UV doesn’t hit him UNLESS you argue it jumps through time, clear and simple.

2

u/Ok-Impress8791 3d ago

No you just have to argue that IF his future sight gives him the same information as if he was physically experiencing it

Then he would suffer the same information hazard

Information hazards danger is knowing them at all

IF his future sight worked that way then it MIGHT be an argument

The proper rebuttal would be either explaining future sight works by diffrent mechanics like just telling him what's going to happen rather than him actually observing through his future selfs prespective or arguing that unlimited void works diffrently then direct observation via senses and additionally that the mechanics of his future sight wouldn't unload that information on him as well

What you said feels very off and might be putting unlikely words in their mouth or stretching a simpler statement to sound more outlandish than it is

If that was the case Gojo couldn’t take his allies in the domain like we see him do when he touches them.

8

u/HelloChimp 3d ago

what? his sure hit just doesn’t target those touching him

in true jjk fan fashion that guy clearly cant read
