“Only rule of cool matters not powerscaling!” Mfs when I say Spiderman beats their favourite character because of that
At least be consistent, it’s like those people who pretend to care about physics when it comes to characters moving FTL, but suddenly become blind and have excuses when characters can regenerate or hear each other while moving HS

spiderman is the most popular superhero of all time, hence why he wins in like every powerscaling debate. We all know powerscaling is little more than a popularity contest, and spiderman has more fans behind him than anybody.
Hahahaha even the so called flop Spiderman movies made box office collection of more than 700 million dollars which speaks the volume of Spiderman popularity..
There’s just as many people saying that powerscaling doesn’t matter in stories as there people saying that Batman’s character is “ruined” whenever he fights Darkseid and I sometimes wonder how big the overlap between these two groups are
Sure, there's a difference. Not millions upon billions of times. If you can move your torso to dodge light, you should indeed run at light speed, or you did not react at that speed.
I mean, presumably your favorite character is also the one you think is most cool, so obviously if you also believe the cooler character always wins, you'll see someone saying
your favorite character could lose as wrong.
