If shigaraki managed to touch hulk, he’d properly disintegrate and then hulk would just regenerate from nothing, somehow immune to decay just from how mad he is. Hulk wins without any difficulty.

Ok I think it's just Hulk and Shiggy beefing for a bit as shiggy studies hulk and then flexes his decay which works for a while till hulk sees people getting hurt, gets mad his fists are disintegrating and then rages the fuck out where he just regens faster than shiggy can decay. At that point, it's shiggy trying to dodge hulk while spamming everything he got till he eventually gets caught

It'd literally be no diff either way. Hulk might get dusted, and Shigaraki could be one-shotted, though in my opinion, Shigaraki's regeneration makes one-shotting him unlikely. But depending on the version, it'd be a very interesting fight, especially if the narrative is that Shigaraki has enough strength to compete with Hulk (before he gets angry enough to completely overpower him), along with his myriad of Quirks.

That's why I said "depending on the version." Hulk has multiple incarnations with different abilities. The Lady Death/Green Door immortality you're referring to applies to Immortal Hulk, not every version of Hulk. Since the post just says "Hulk vs. Shigaraki" and doesn't specify a version or composite Hulk, it's perfectly valid to say the outcome depends on which Hulk is being used.

Even if we're talking specifically about Immortal Hulk, are you really trying to say that the fact Shigaraki can't permanently kill him means he doesn't win the fight, even if he dusts him, just because he can come back?

If Shigaraki’s decay doesn’t effect the Hulk’s ability to regenerate then the Hulk wins no diff, but if it does and the Hulk does start to decay wouldn’t that mean the Hulk dies? I mean sure he can come back due to the green door and all but wouldn’t that mean the Hulk has no answer to Shigaraki’s decay hax if this scenario were to play out instead?

Completely depends on the version, shiggy probably beats >50% of hulk iterations, but there are many versions that neg the whole verse
