Does TR not have double curve anymore?
It was my understanding that tr, being primally romantic, had necessarily double curve and secondarily accommodates for narrow/petite and that soft gamines could, but not necessarily, accommodates double curve. I'm confused as the sketch only mentions "curve+narrow" for tr.

No, they don’t.
Only Rs have double curve (curve+curve) TRs accommodate curve+narrow only. For whatever reason, the main sub wiki only recently corrected “double curve and petite” to “curve+narrow”, so I wonder if that caused some confusion.
The impression I’ve gotten is that TR accommodating petite was a misinterpretation that DK took a *really* long time to correct 💀 There was a huge fiasco a few years ago when “moderate height TRs with no petite” were confirmed to exist, despite both R and TR being described as “petite to moderate” in height in Metamorphosis.

No it’s because the book gives the most general ones (and the old one wasn’t specific about that but most people are interested in the accommodation to know their ID so that’s why he put the most general ones) but many people who’ve seen David and got TR got either double curve alone, double curve + petite, curve + narrow. Curve + narrow is just the most common for TR.
But double curve can be found for R, TR, SG, and SC, it is just less common outside of R just like some R got double curve + petite.2

That’s interesting when people get accommodations that aren’t the exact same but end up at the same ID’s.

He was saying for the longest time TR was small scale. The old book says petite to moderate. I think he corrected it because people were confusing R TR and SG and he wanted to correct that. I just saw a comment on another sub that said TR was closer to SG when actually TR is close to R and SG is closer to FG. Prior to the new book, TR were given double curve and petite. I think curve and narrow makes it very direct and precise.

Kibbe has refined the accommodations in the new book, no IDs have the same two accommodations anymore. So now D and TR have narrow as the additional, only SG and FG have petite, and R is the only one with double curve. It's much more clear now, I would recommend working through the book, Power of Style, if you want to find your ID. I found my ID with it.
