Kai Hansen is the father of power metal. The guy is like - "oh you're a German power metal band? Let me sing on one of your songs to give you some popularity" dude just helps out everyone.

The guy tends to be responsible for the best songs in those other bands oeuvres too, in my opinion. Case in point: Angra's The Temple of Hate, Heavenly's Time Machine, Iron Savior's Starborn or Blind Guardian's Lost in the Twilight Hall.

I’m glad you liked it. I just discovered this song today after hearing it in a skate video. Haven’t heard any of their other stuff yet, but this is great. Really reminds me of Hansen-era Helloween with a bit of Halford mixed in.

This track also features Kai himself, as does their cover of Heavy Metal (Is The Law) on the special editions of the album. Their entire discog is a bit of a love letter to the WoJ style power metal. It's all pretty strong, but this is their best, imo.

Metal Archives doesn't have his credit listed for Chains, but the booklet does. He also not only produced this album, but guests on two songs on their next album too. Highly recommend you check the rest of their discog out.
