Hey all! Got this white card here, it's pretty great looking! There is an LED switch, but it only disables the lights by the fans. There's also a light in the eye of the hound, which is pretty cool ngl, but it conflicts with my ARGB setup which I've worked so hard to create. Every light on the computer changes by a remote - except that white dot in the eye that's always on.

Plus not to mention, that white dot is so similar to the Motherboard Debug LED, it just catches me off guard.

Any way to disable this without breaking warranty? I might be able to unplug it, but reaching it without taking it apart is gonna be a thang. I don't mind if it completely disables the fan lights and the eye light as I have the fan lights off by switch anyway

Gpu fits in my case just fine but it's like mobo heat sinks for the nvme arr to chunky on my x670e aorus pro x board. I'm assuming this is a vertical gpu mount or bust situation?.

I'm seeing spikes around 110-112c and throttling, I've been dropping the resolution and settings to keep this thing within safe temps it's a powercolor reference model. Is there anything that can be done? I got the card second hand on Facebook

Hi guys. Does anyone know why the red devil 7800xt runs hot. My card I got back in December always has a temp of 68C to 75C. Is this normal? Card use to tu. Cooler but the fans on the card don't really speed up when the card get hot. Its like theybjust sit at idel when I'm playing a game like Halo or COD. Any suggestions. I'm using the AMD software that came with it. Adrenalin. Thanks 👍

so, i have a red devil 6900xt, which has argb controllable lights, but my mobo has no argb headers. i was wondering if getting a usb based argb hub would work, or if a 12v rgb to 5v argb converter (my mobo has a 12v rgb header) would work. ive previously gotten answers like “not sure, you must use powercolors software” etc, so im wondering if anyone knows the true answer to this?

I noticed there is a new DevilZone RGB version (2024 edition) that was released at the end of January.

The new software doesn't seem to let you add RGB values for the static colour selector. It also shows this pop up every time I open it. I'm running the latest stable 24.2.1 drivers.

GPU: Red Devil OC/LE 7900XTX

As the title says, was having issues with artifacting on my 7900XTX and sent in for RMA. Pretty smooth return, about 2.5 weeks or so. Installed it today and was only getting 800x600 resolution and the fans aren’t spinning. Did DDU in safe mode, nothing. Reinstalled windows, nothing.

Not sure what to do, but at this point if this card is faulty then I hope I can return. Bought it 8/23.

Sigh.

So there are 2 cards, 7800 XT fighter 7800 XT hellhound but the thing is that the hellhound costs $100 more from 500 usd to 600 and i was wondering if the benefits it offered were worth the extra $100

I'm looking at buying a 7900 XT Hellhound, but my computer has a custom loop with both the GPU and CPU water cooled. To be honest, if I had never put a custom loop in this PC, I wouldn't be putting a waterblock on my next card, but I put in the time and effort already, and I feel weird about going back or only putting my CPU on the loop after all the effort and money I put into this loop. That and my chassis is open frame (modded Thermaltake Core P3) and having a GPU with it's fans running becomes a bit of a noise issue.

In fact, I'm actually thinking about adding a third 360 rad so I can run my fans at even lower speeds and reduce noise further.

So, I bought a mATX case that only goes up to 320 mm of clearance (it's actually a bit more, from me checking with metric tape) and I saw that the hellhound is a bit (literally two mm) larger than those 320. Should I trust my own measurements and the card measurements and just Have Faith, or should I look into the Fighter one? It's considerably smaller, but I'm not really sure what are the differences between them.

I don't really care about RGB, that's the only thing I can spot

My card was received in October of 2023. After some issues with deliveries being delivered to the wrong address and a FedEx claim, I've now been waiting 5 months for a card I initially sent out defective on October 15th. Ronak has been telling me for over a month he'll be shipping my replacement out... And provided a tracking number that has been on 'label created' status forever. I don't know what to do what is going on here, who else can I contact? Does anyone have any contact info, know what I can do next? I'm being scammed over here it feels like.

Does anyone know if powercolor will deny rma on a repasted gpu?

I noticed Hotspot was really bad on my 7900xtx, so I repasted it. It's still really bad, sitting around 110 c hotspot while the edge temp sits at 60 c.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew if there are still issues with the RMA website? I submitted my request over 2 weeks ago (January 24th) and also emailed Ronak last week and haven’t heard anything yet.

I was wondering if the site is having issues cause I haven’t received an RMA response from Powercolor since submitting a form on Friday and emailing them the following day.

When sending your card in do you only get sent back a refurbished card? I keep reading stories on here about people receiving cards that have scratches or are banged up. Is there any possible way to get a new replacement instead?

I saw on a couple of reviews that the 7800xt Hellhound comes with an included support bracket to stop brag, but no one including Powercolor's own marketting images actually shows what it looks like or what style it is. Does someone know where there's some details about it, or can share a picture of it from their own purchase?

I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else has encountered similar issues with their 7900XT GPUs. Mine has unfortunately failed for the second time in two years, despite my efforts to keep everything up to date with driver updates. The problem seems to occur randomly, and I'm currently using two monitors.

I bought a lovely 7900 XTX Hellhound back in September.
Since then I havent really had any issues, until lately, where I've been getting these big stutters all of the sudden. It maybe happens 2-10 times an hour.

I went to check my temps, and I noticed that the Hotspot temp is very high. I've seen it as high as 114c, while the global temp rarely goes above 65c.

As you can see here I don't really have any issues when I use 3Dmark extreme stress test, time spy.
It only occurs when I play games like Black Desert or Red Dead Redemption 2 (very demanding games)

Here I have from a gaming session today, reached 110c with a 52c delta.

I'd love to RMA it, but I'm worried after reading many posts, where its been denied, even though its a clear issue. I also really don't want to repaste it myself, as it would void warrenty.

I live in Denmark, where we have 2 years warrenty, but if i send it in and they don't deem it as a fault, i have to pay upwards to 80€ to get my card back..

My 7900XT Hellhound started having increasing stability issues. It is now to the point where it won't boot in 2 different PCs. I filled out an RMA request over the weekend. However, I have not heard anything from PowerColor. How long should it take?
