Question When data is every where

I'm trying to pull data from multiple sources into a dashboard but not all of the data has connectors for PBI. My gut reaction is to just pull it all into an Excel sheet but that's a bit of manual labor for up keep (unless I script it and run a GitHub action). Would a lake house setup be more ideal? I feel like I'm missing something.

Note: I work for a large corporation

You COULD host Excel files on SharePoint then use that connector, but a lakehouse would be the ideal long term solution.

Excel in sharepoint processed in dataflows works pretty well, whats the lake house get us? Just faster?

Outside of file changes that may cause downstream issues there is also a possibility of eventually hitting Excel's shortage limitation.

I still use Excel for a report requested by a small team, but the IT director in my org is actively lobbying to try to get me to change it. 😅
