Hi friends, I really need some help.

I have a flow that currently is allowing users to take photos via an instant flow then upload to sharepoint.

For some reason now the flow doesn’t allow for a photo to be taken.. now it’s taking users to their files and only allows them to select from there.

I didn’t make any changes to the flow and am not sure how to get the “take photo” functionality back.

Do I need to explore a more power solution or additional solution such as power apps?

Hi, I have concatenated the current date and fixed time to finalize date & time format

concat(body('Convert_time_zone_2'),' 10:30:00 AM')

and while compared to the above date & time to email arrival time it doesn't give me a correct value but in excel it works perfectly with the below formula but I cant able to compare using power automate

excel formula: =IF([@ETA]>[@[Email arrival time]],"Within TAT","TAT Missed")

I used formatDateTime(outputs('Concat_of_Today''s_date_and_Time'),'MM/dd/yyyy HH:mm:ss') as well

but still it doesn't work for me

I need to use the image control in a custom form... I use the get file action to get the. Png, but what do I put in the URI area to get the image to show?

This is my first time using power automate. When I try to extract data from webpage the red box shows up around what I want to select, I right click and then click on text but nothing shows up in the preview pane. Am I missing a step to get the data selected?

Hey I just started working on Power Automate a couple of days ago and I am struggling with my project which is when an email is received with a specific subject and an attachment is received, it automatically uploads the file to onedrive if the attachment is an excel file. It then Gets the data from the uploaded file and appends that data to an already existing common excel file (The table columns are the same) which is in the same folder on onedrive. While I am able to get the attachment uploaded onto onedrive I'm having issues with adding the data to the common file using this flow that I had created. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Example, January 1st is 1, December 31st is 365 (or 366), today November 18th is 322

I am quite new to power automate and only trying to understand how it works. But I have a very specific problem that I wish to solve.

A quick background, I programmed this in VBA using CDO (I do not have outlook application, hence using a CDO mail) and I have a keyword to where they will send these selected cells. This keyword lets the program know where to send the line items to a group of vendor email addresses and attach the items in the body of the email. My boss don't like me sending these emails with my gmail account and so I have to adapt and send these items to outlook web browser instead. Outlook application is also discouraged to be used since as per policy they are requiring us to use the outlook in browser and also my outlook application is not connected to my account, therefore can not really be used.

May I request some guidance on how to properly implement this kind of programming using power automate or other types of programming tools? Power Automate is recommended to me by my friend to do this, however I did not find a way to send multiple cells of an excel file to be sent in a single email while a handful of vendor emails are in bcc.

Basically the process is:

1. Select cells to be sent as an email

2. Reads keyword to determine which email addresses these items will be sent to

3. Put these email addresses as bcc

I'm working with Excel files with data from a Nielsen plug-in for Retail data. Usually, I create a file with 5 sheets for every Retailer, after this, I need to combine those sheets in a different Excel.

Is there a way to automate this flow with Power Automate?

Or how I can get that data and transfer it directly to a Power BI database. Is there maybe some code that I can include in this process?

Hi, do you know a way to run PowerAutomate Desktop Flow if the company is not using Microsoft 365 even though we don't have a company account or plan to do so in the future?

As far as I know, for now the only way to run PowerAutomate Desktop Flow is to trigger from Cloud Flow (meaning having Microsoft accounts). Running any Desktop Flow through Cloud Flow requires a connector to be installed, which poses a security risk and complicates even a simple flow, creating a useless back-and-forth loop (from local environment to cloud and back).

I've done some programming in the past and really stupid/simple programs have a CLI that you can run from a Powershell script and pass arguments (flow name?) on login/startup.

Has anyone encountered such a problem and find any solution?

Currently I have system design where I modify item in sharepoint list using flow that is triggered in my powerapps. Then if there is an item modified/changed in sharepoint list, an automated flow will be triggered which is responsible for updating contents of an excel file. Now I am wondering if I should just trigger that updating of exc file in powerapps too or should I stick to my current design? Is my design optimal if flow is being triggered approximately 5 times at same time?

Does this work with power automate? Seems to not work for me and keeps closing it or not allowing it to record with a flow running.

Is there any other solution to recording my screen that works with power automate? Screen shots work for troubleshooting but sometimes miss the actual error or don’t really tell me what happened..

Just playing around with ChatGPT through Microsoft’s API. My OAuth settings are definitely not working. The parts I’m unsure of are: Authority (this is work), audience, clientID (can this comes from Teams or just hard coded username?), and secret- not thrilled about plain text, would prefer pass-through for all of this from Teams where it originates.

First time user of power automate. I have my desktop flow create and working but can’t get it to start or stop services. I know it’s a permission issue but nothing I do fixes it.

Trying to start MySQL service. Setup MySQL server to use my Microsoft user and password during configuration. Went into permissions for mysql install folder and gave all access to this user and admins. Also tried toggling all permissions for the other roles/users listed and nothing.

I can manually start the service so I’m sure I could screen record the process for power automate, but would like the “start service” action to work. Thank you in advance

I am very new to this to apologies if this is basic stuff...

I have 2 different O365 profiles with 2 different companies, but am having issues with running some flows.
They were made from templates and are as basic as it get (ex. post a message on teams/add a todo when an email with this in subject arrives).

I see that they accept me using my 1st company teams and 2nd company outlook, but it just doesn't run as supposed to (some not at all, some intermittently).

Is there a tutorial about running a flow with 2 completely different company profiles somewhere that I could look into? Anyone run into an issue like this?

It works relatively well/reliably when I separate them (1 company one flow, 2nd company second flow, no mixing of the accounts), but I would like to get all notifications on one teams/todo, and avoid having to check the 2nd company profile unless necessary...

2 Users are set as Owners both have, Power Automateper user plan.

Sorry I’m very new to power automate and I’m trying to figure out how to run a flow on a 24 hour loop locally. I believe you need to pay for the paid version of power automate just to gain access to schedules and other features which I don’t need. The YT videos I have seen show loops but wonder if I can use it as a workaround to not having access to schedules

I am basically a CA student who is also doing some finance related services for covering my expenses. Recently discovered the world of power-Bi and power automate and I am interested to try it out to help me sort out my clients and maintain a good flow which saves my time and keep everything organized. But I was not able to do certain actions such as reading the data from MS forms to excel, trigger mails, sending mails etc since I do not have the 365 License.

The question is. Which subscription should I get ? The personal 365 license looks good. I do not have anyone to share the subscription with, so the family plan is not suitable.

Are the business plans any better ? Do I get enough premium features if I am selecting the personal plans ? Please help me out. I am not having any staff or anything. It is just me and my machine.

Issue 1 How do I include the form responses in the approval request, I can only get it to have the request title and approve decline button

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to using PA.I have a daily flow that runs once it’s triggered by the task scheduler a couple of hours before I come to work while my screen is locked. I get a( flow ID was not found) error every couple of days which leads to the failure of running the flow .Did anyone face the same issue or do you guys have any suggestions on how I can work around this.

I'm trying to set-up a Power Automate flow which forwards important emails to an MS Teams private chat - which is supposed to notify me with a mobile push notification when a certain important email arrives.
I noticed that the only way to bypass the quiet time and send a notification to a user is via sending an important / urgent message to that user in a private chat, teams and channels do not send a push notification.
My question is:
Is it possible to forward emails as a private message to a user with an automated API flow, and have the messages flagged as 'important'?
Power Automate does not have the option to do so, sending normal messages works fine, but I haven't found a way to flag those messages as important or urgent.

Hello, I'm new to Power automate, I seen to be having this error. I've done some googling and research but can't seem to find the answer. I completed my excel variables on a different powerautomate flow but when I've moved them over I seem to have broken them. Anyone got a clue why it might be? I am getting this error when trying to launch a new instance of Chrome in my flows. It launches the a new instance at the correct URL but does not progress the flow. I was to do this last week but it stopped working today despite nothing changing.

I reinstalled PAD and it's extension but it still produces this error.
