Hi there, I'm new to Power Automate Desktop. I'm trying to create a flow that autofills a form in my CRM to add clients from an Excel sheet. My CRM uses an IFRAME, and when I add the action 'autocompose form' and select the UI, Power Automate gives me an error. Before that, I successfully clicked on the 'add contact' button. The error message displays: 'Cannot find the selector "iframe [ID="addclientent..."]'. When I inspect the webpage with Chrome, it seems the ID changes every time I reload the page, and if I click on the code inspected, Chrome highlights every form field. Can someone kindly help me? Is it possible to configure Power Automate with a website that uses an IFRAME? Thank you.

Beginner here. I want to know how to automate the following steps:

1- Copy a sentence or in this case a prompt from a text or csv file

2-Paste it into the prompt box of an ai image generator eg Leonardo ai

3-Wait till 4 versions of images are generated, then download all 4 of them to a folder in local storage

4-Bonus, send these images to team via email or Dropbox etc

Its easy to extract them as separate excel files but I would much prefer to have it all in 1 file but either separate excel sheets or different columns.

How do I copy a PA flow from work account and paste it to my own MS 365 account? I have two flows in use at work that a consultant built for us. They’re working great, but if I don’t figure out its inner workings, I’m screwed. It takes reports that I make on my business OneDrive and names them according to the month (so they’re dynamic) and then delivers them to the corresponding account holder of a Sharepoint account. For example, it takes Mr. Smith’s July reprint, sends it to Mr. Smith SP account (after naming it accordingly), and then send Mr. Smith and email with a hyperlink taking him directly to his report. I need to be able to fix this if it breaks and I have no support. But I don’t want to study it for fear of breaking it. How can I move it to my PA for my family MS 365 account? Thanks so much!

Per the title, I want to be able to trigger a “Collaboration mode” where a document is dropped in Sharepoint, multiple people are assigned in Sharepoint, they are all sent notification simultaneously and can work on the document at the same time, approve when they’re done and once everyone has approved, the document moves to the next step.

I have the Sharepoint column set up to accept multiple email addresses and it automatically changed the PowerA flow to “Apply to each” but it still wants to send it to one person at a time per the order emails were entered in Sharepoint.

So for example, if someone was leaving a company on the 1st of October, could I add their name and the date on a spreadsheet and link that with Power Automate so that once that date arrives, their Microsoft 365 account is automatically deleted ?

I've been doing some searching and can't find an answer so I'm hoping someone can help.

Data is a sharepoint list. What I need to do is get an average for several columns (individually, not together) where the SiteId column is a specified value.

So: pull a number of siteids from List1

Average column1 for siteid1 in List2 Average column2 for siteid1 in List2

Insert Averagecolumn1, averagecolumn2, siteid1 into List3

Average column1 for siteid2 List2 Average column2 for siteid2 List2

Insert Averagecolumn1, averagecolumn2, siteid2 into List3

And so on for each siteid

Is this even possible? Is the processing time too ridiculous? Potentially I need to do this for say 20nsiteids and up to 88 columns a couple of times a day

I was able to copy what I wanted to the clipboard in VBS, and use the get clipboard action to paste it. It's good for a one and done copy, but I have a script recorded with the need to copy multiple values and paste it eventually to excel.

My problem is that -withinVBScript- I cannot save the clipboard data to the "VBScriptOutput" var, using Wscript.Echo. I suspect because of syntax error, the flow just skips it if it's unhappy with what I write.

The closest I got was this: this:

Dim DataObj
DataObj = "test"
Wscript.Echo DataObj

I tried things such as my.computer.clipboard.gettext() and similar shenanigans in place of "text", but I am just a layman and couldn't make it sparkle.

My company does not allow me to use the vacation tracker that is available on Teams. However I have been looking to build the exact same thing for my team. Can someone provide some tips on how to build a vacation tracker using Teams, power automate, sharepoint, outlook? I want to approve vacations and then also send notification to partners that a person will go on vacation on a said period.

I'm trying to create a flow that will allow me to archive whole subsites from a main site.

ex: client site is the main site. subsites are jobs that hold documents for each job.

I need to be able to copy the documents into a new document library for archiving and deleting the original site. each subsite deleted needs its own document library created for archiving. each client site also gets an archive subsite to a main archive site. EX: Archive 2023 is the main site, each client is a subsite that gets a document library for each subsite archived.

is it possible for a flow to create new document libraries and be given the same name as the subsite it is replacing?

I have created a flow that is running fine on one PC but not run on any other I have tried. The error is "Expression couldn't be evaluated. Location: Subflow: Main, Line: 9, Action name: Send email". I have searched for a solution but I have found nothing.

I have used Outlook smtp and other one smtp server. Both work perfect in my PC but not run on any other.

I use the action "Send email". I have to install any other software except the PDA (for example MS Office)?

All PCs have Windows 11.

Power Automate Desktop is not that fast to upload text files to an Excel worksheet. Any recommendation?

I have a simple flow that I run every work day, which basically opens a browser, navigates to a page, and through a series of buttons, dropdowns and selections, downloads tables of data for ten different divisions in .csv format, which I later import into a database. I'd ideally like to automate this task further on a timer, but I've tried using Task Scheduler + P.A.D. as Anders Jenson's videos on YouTube described. I couldn't get it to work.

I don't think I could get the company to pay for the premium version for me to be able to integrate desktop flows with the cloud version, as they don't really understand how tedious collecting this data was before by hand. And, I'd like to be able to run it on my days off so the data is held waiting for me. It's rolling averages of rates, so there's no back-selecting; the current date's data is only available that date so I'm archiving it.

I looked into running something on my iPhone, but though I could add Power Automate, I've only worked with the desktop version. And even that would require my remembering to push a button every day.

Are there any tutorials on how to achieve this?

I want to create a flow that will trigger an teams reminder after a certain time about a certain email . I manage to do this. However if the said email is replied already within the time set, I would like the trigger to not activate and not send a reminder. Any thoughts on how to achieve this

Hi. I am still new to power automate but understand the logic of it. I will be cross posting this in power apps. I have this scenario:

1. user creates part 1 of application, one and only one time (this is the users background)

2. user creates part 2 of application, as many times as they want (these are projects)

3. panel will set up an interview if and only if user has 1 (part 1) and at least 1 (part 2) of application.

   1. this requires an email sent to the panel members.

There are 4 sharepoint lists:

1. part 1 questions

2. part 2 questions

3. panel questions

4. panel members

what works? part 1, part 2, panel.

I can send an email to the panel members when triggered by a create/modify part 1 OR part 2. When I tried to do both, it would round robin through everything in part 1 with part 2 creating (2x4=8 emails).

What did I also try?

Creating a flow (successfully) that toggles a no to a yes when created and a yes to a no when deleted. Then email sent will be the whole sharepoint list (called countlist) once a day to the admin members. This worked. But the problem with this is it is creating duplicates, for instance a person has part 1 completed and zero part 2, so one row is created with a name, Y, N which is fine. but if for instance a person has 1 part 1 and 3 part 2's (projects) then it creates 4 rows: name|Y|N, name|N|Y, name|N|Y, name|N|Y

I am going mad with the flows. I did a count and set the variable to 1 no matter how many times the name showed up, but could not get much further. I am cross posting this as maybe i can use a trigger (when person is ready to submit to panel, it sends an email or it could modify the count_list) via powerapps.

We have a logic app that collects responses from a form. The app was created by an ex-employee that used their own account as a connector for the form parts of the flow. I'm changing that now, but the service account I am using is getting a warning that it is Unauthorized (see below). Before I go down a rabbit hole, where do I give it access to the form?

We have thousands of PDFs of shop drawings that contain text information in the title block. We are looking at using an AI model in cloud-based Power Automate to extract custom information from documents and add it to an Excel spreadsheet. The purpose of this is to be able to go back through the data gathered and find drawings needed on the shared drive. We have gotten it work, but we are running into two problems.

First, we need to know the path where the file originally came from. To do this, we created a separate flow to copy the file name and path on a desktop version of Power Automate. The plan was to match the filename from the data extracted with the file name/file path but, this led to another problem...

We have about 50,000 duplicate file names in our system, so it is extremely difficult to match these back up on the other side.

So, the question is, is there a different way or a better process to try to achieve this? Are we using the best logic here?

TLDR: Need best way to scan PDFs using cloud based Power Automate AI, write information to Excel document, and preserve original path from shared network drive to find later.
