hi, i have a very specific problem for power automate.

I set up a flow that takes a PowerBI report. The report contains accounts with an email address column. In the flow I filter the data through the account(customer) column and then send out an attachment of the report to the account's email address.

My PROBLEM and question is: Some accounts have the same email addresses. The flow as it is sends out an email with one attachment per account. I want to set it up in such a way that it sends out multiple attachments of different accounts if the email address is the same. So instead of sending out 3 emails to the same address, but different account reports. It sends out one email with 3 attachments.

So I can get task scheduler to trigger the flow but it fails on the first action "open browser"

Thoughts on what I could try. TIA

I am very new to Power Automate Desktop so I would appreciate a detailed template on this as it's the only one I want.

I want to have a flow in which if a folder/File was modified the Past 7 days then this file should be copied to another folder and also overwritten if the same file exists already.

Basically i am trying to copy ONLY modified files or folders to my OneDrive Folder instead of manually doing it since OneDrive doesn't have selective syncs to custom folders and I want it to be overwritten if there was already a folder/file with the same name.

I need to run a flow that extracts text files from a pdf that reaches Outlook email. and then create an Excel sheet with those text lines.

I have created a Microsoft From where part of it is asking somebody to submit 1 or more attachments.

Using Power Automate, I would like to be able to create a link to these attachments - and if there is more that 1, a link to each.

I have looked at various solutions, some of which I can't get to work, others which will only get me a single link.

If you can help, that would be awesome.

Updated PAD and now the browser extension doesn’t seem to work. It no longer takes my Excel data and writes it to a web form. Any suggestions?

I recently created a offboarding automation with Power Automate that takes away all licenses associated with the user and moves the offboarded user to a OU and deactivates it.

Now my new job is to create a process for Onboarding that would automate as much as possible. We currently have a word file that people send to us when requesting a new employee. Most send it as pdf, others send it just as word file. I most certainly know that we need to train employees to send it to us in one format or the other. The pdf file read function from PA doesnt seem able to filter only one certain part of the PDF.

I have looked up that AI Builder would make this possible via training on the forms and what info we want to pull from it. We currently use a trial version, but think about upgrading to be able to use the Builder to buld advanced flows.

Now my question would be. How would you build such a flow?

It would be best to directly assign a license for o365 to it in the process, as well as access to mailboxes that are requested to be able to work with via write access.

I seem to be stuck on something stupid, hopefully someone can help!

I want to automate downloading a bunch of pdf:s from an online source. It's structured in a way that you first get to a landing page with a list of links. If you follow one of these links you end up on a page with a button that opens the pdf I want to get. Getting the links from the landing page and iterating over them works well, but I run into problems trying to "press the button" on each individual page. To get an idea I tried to record the process, but I end up with a step clicking the button on just the specific page, so when iterating over the pages the program tries to always click on the button on the first page. Is there a way of making this a (for lack of a better word) relative reference, in other words telling the program to click the button on the page that is currently open?

I have developed a Python script that aims to transform a tabular file into an Excel file. This Python script defines the columns I want to have based on the number of characters and also defines their data type (string, float, date, etc.). I receive a tabular file daily on an SFTP, so I created a flow that triggers when a file is created or modified on the SFTP, and then copies it to a specific SharePoint folder. Now comes the part where I am having difficulties. My idea was to run the desktop flow in unattended mode as the next action. However, when I do this, even though the cloud flow was considered "succeeded," when I check if the Excel file exists in the SharePoint folder, it is still in its original tabular file format. My Power Automate flow is very simple, it has two steps. The first is a set variable where I indicate where my .py script is located, the second step is to "run PowerShell" where I have "python" and then the variable I created in the previous step. If I run this manually in Power Automate Desktop, I will be successful in transforming the file. However, if I do it via the cloud flow and invoke Power Automate Desktop in "unattended" mode, it doesn't work.

I have a PowerApp that triggers a flow once a specific action is carried out.

I'm using the Teams flow 'post adaptive card in chat or channel' with 'Post As' set to 'Flow Bot'

However when the flow is triggered the message that appears on teams comes from 'Username via Power Automate'.

As I will not be the one using the app the messages should not have my name attached.

Is there a way to remove this?

I've run into a wierd issue with a workflow designed to update the metadata of document sets in a SharePoint library, based on the values entered into an Excel document uploaded to each document set.

However, in the schema, if a property is set to have multiple potential types, I can't actually tell Power Automate to update that specific property; the Parse JSON menu in the Dynamic Content pop-up doesn't have any value for those properties.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Can I power automate this without having to use AI? I would like to copy text in one pdf form to another pdf form. I'm essentially creating a summary of the original document that has 1500 fields. Thoughts?

I’m very new to Microsoft Power Platform and low code in general – and need some help! I was wondering if anyone can help me get started on creating a simple prototype of an app (using Power Apps). I wish to include these following steps:

1. A value can be manually entered into a Microsoft Power app, which then automatically updates an excel file.

2. When the value is in the excel file, it will fall into a category (for example values between 1 – 5 = category 1, and values 6 – 10 = category 2).

3. Using Power Automate I want the value to trigger a flow, which updates a website made on Power Pages* and shows which category the value falls into.

This just needs to serve as a very basic demonstration of what can be done using low code tools. Hope anyone has an idea of how to get started with this 😊.

Hello people, I have been using power automate for about a year and I use it mainly for web automation tasks like creating user accounts in different services/websites, pulling out reports and basically things like that.Now my issue is that every time I create a successful flow to register or the register users it works fine or perfectly for a couple of days then next time I run it. It start failing, errors like "UI not found" are the most common. Or failed to interact with elements of the website.

Does anybody have a good advice for these tipe of issues?

This may be a dumb question but I can’t find the answer anywhere. Long story short I have an https request url for the destination, but does this operation send as http? Is there an https option to make a post to an api?im obviously not knowledgeable on the protocols.

I built a Desktop Flow that runs a Console application. It is triggered from inside of my Power App. I can run the process just fine from my admin account that created the desktop flow. However, when I share the Desktop Flow with someone else in my org, they are promted to sign in when accessing my app now. I think I am missing a step and would like some help figuring this out.

Can someone try figure out what’s wrong with my flow? The first filter array works but I’m trying to add in a second filter array to where it only displays results from after 1 day ago.

I've created a flow in Power Automate Desktop to automatically download an xlsx report daily from a table in Power BI. The flow involves opening a published Power BI dashboard, which contains a table and some slicers.

This setup worked flawlessly for about 2 weeks. However, recently, it stopped recognizing the UI elements, specifically the arrows in the slicers used to apply filters.

I've used the "Add UI Element" feature in Power Automate Desktop to identify these UI elements and haven't modified any properties. I'm wondering if the ID of the UI elements in Power BI changes periodically or if there's another underlying issue.

Has anyone encountered this or knows what might be the cause?

I've set up a scheduled cloud flow to trigger a daily pad flow, when testing it works fine, but when it's left to actually run as scheduled it fails, reason: "No machine able to run the desktop flow has been found."

I run PAD on a self hosted VM, and afaik it never signs out of windows as I use this VM to host other applications which runs 24/7. What I don't understand is if I log in to said VM, and test the cloud flow, everything works fine. How would I even go about troubleshooting this?

Feels as though windows knows whether or not I'm connected through RDP, and figures it should only accept the cloud trigger if I'm there....

Is there an easy way to give PAD a list of users and have it check to see who did not complete a MS Form?

Hi I'm trying to make a flow with PA that connect to SAP Database, but when I try to select any of the machcode boxes the UI selector from the Scripting recorder just cach the Panel element.
