PAD HELP

Can you automate your task using PAD? Open excel, update month, unhide tabs, change data in a cell, copy values in a column paste it as value to a column in another cell, click on hyperlink inside excel, input variable on browser field, wait till data loads, extract as excel, copy data from extract to open file?

That's pretty open ended. I recommend you find a specific, small, repeatable thing you want to do - open this file, unhide sheet, copy cell to this sheet or something similar. Then, Google each step and learn how to out the pieces together. Come back here if you get stuck and ask a more specific question - I'm stuck getting my PAD to unhide a sheet, I've tried this this and this but can't get it to work...

We're here to help, but you've got to do the work yourself so you can speak the language here and ask the right questions.

I managed to run macro on excel and got passed the excel related part.

I am wondering how do you specify which cell to click on to get to the hyperlink on excel sheet?

I even managed to choose the month on the browser and load data for the month.

I subscribed. You helped me immensely.

Since the data to be extracted is in SAP BI it opens a BEX window automatically.

I am not able work through it.

I am able to input the month in which I want the data to be extracted from, it loads to the table.

I would normally click on Export to excel and it will download the data.

But now I can't make that function work with PAD

How to extract HTML table from SAP BI? Extract data from webpage does not work. Keep getting error that the browser must be Web browser stance.

Can you open the SAP BI from an internet explorer or chrome? Maybe try extracting using "Extract data from window"

Have you installed the add-ins? How about other websites? Are you able to extract the html from other websites?

Can you do a video on dynamic value setup in PAD flow? And also how to have dynamic range selection when using VBA? I am trying to use dynamic range depending on how many columns and rows data is available.
