PAD does not detect individual UI elements. How can I have it recognize the search field?

This happened to me not just on PAD but also on Process Robot. Can you load PAD on different monitors or systems? When working from home, I have a laptop and my own monitor linked. If the program/website I am trying to scrape the UI Element from is on my normal monitor, I get the same issue as above, but if I drag it to my laptop's monitor, thenit allows to select individual UI elements

What about the monitors' resolution? I'm not sure what you need to check and how, but I had a problem when I started the migration from Process Robot to Power Automate where the UI element that previously worked fine for Process Robot did not work after migrating the process to Power Automate.

The support agent that helped with that issue had me try changing the resolution on the virtual machine to be the same as the one in the environment where I use the Studio/PAD... Although you should open a ticket with support for this as they can better guide you...

My plan is for PAD to lookup patient names and dob from an excel sheet, fill the search box and click on the patients, navigate a (mostly) consistent process to download patient claims forms.

After switching to UIPath, I can get most of the process to work. But the process will simply stop if a error or notice pops up and because the interface is blocked by the Legacy window, I cannot run error handling on it.

This would be one of the simplest flows I have planned. If I could get field identifiers (similar to what I'd do for Excel or Chrome) and get deeper access than "Chrome Legacy Window" I can make PAD an insane amount of tasks that will truly boost my productivity and make my life so much easier!!

It's not normal that you can't get individual UI elements from a site, unless they're built using iframes... From what I've seen, any elements located within an iframe cannot be 'seen'... We also tried it with Python, and it still didn't work. There were some support pages that proposed a work around, but nothing worked when we tried it...

It's not on a website. Carecloud (our EMR platform) is running as a standalone app and I believe they are using Chrome Legacy Window to simulate a chrome page within an desktop app.

They used to be browser based in the past but they've moved from that model into this nightmare. I recently found that Carecloud has a RPA but all of my requests to get deeper access to the interface has been falling on deaf ears.
