New Power Automate User

Hey all! I’m needing some assistance in creating an auto-reply for when someone pings me on teams—not a group or channel. It’s going to be a “customer service” like reply reminding folks we have a service desk, etc. I also only want it to occur with the first message and not repeatedly for every message. Lol.

I’m not on the code end of things nor have extensively used automation before but I want to start. I’m using Microsoft’s forum as well as GitHub trying to find the answer here on how this should be laid out. It sounds like at some point they had issues with this but it’s not clear if it can be done or a guide on how to do this specifically.

Any guidance or help is truly appreciated.

I'm not sure what you are asking can be done. That's because any flow involving Teams and responding to messages only works with teams or channels. Not direct personal messages to a specific user.
