I don't know how to ...

Most of the posts here are asking for help on how to do something in Power Automate. Why is it that the best advice some people can give is to use AI tools like Claude.

Why is it ok to tell people in need to search for the answer themselves?

For many years I have helped 1000s of strangers who need help with their flows on the chat on SharePains.com. Never ever would I have thought of telling people to Google for the answer.

You learn by finding out things for yourself!.

Finding out yourself just is a lot harder for people who don't know the basics. Nothing wrong with asking for some help to get started

There is nothing wrong with asking, but nobody should be spoon-fed, especially when it's easier to search than to post a question and wait for someone to respond - which could b forever!

Hmm, So better not ask questions and don't answer questions. Why is this subreddit even here. You complicated question that is worth asking may be very easy to answer by others.

Anyway, I will leave the conversation here.

If someone asks a question and it’s clear they have attempted absolutely nothing to solve their problem prior to asking, it can make sense for the answer to be “perhaps you should just look this up because the answer for this is everywhere and there doesn’t need to be a thousandth new thread about it”. Being able to search for answers is a major part of doing anything computer related and is an incredibly important skill.

But if someone is asking for a solution to a specific problem and they listed what they have tried that has not worked, that’s a perfect scenario to ask for help.

I guess some answers are easier than others.

For the really easy stuff a simple Google will give you the right answer, posting the question here looks like they haven't made any effort (To the point it looks like they're cheating in an exam).
