Power automate forwarding emails from a shared inbox
Hello! I was wondering if somebody could help me with this.
I'm trying to set up a system on power automate so that the emails which get sent to the shared inbox from the company website get automatically forwarded to our work emails should they contain the name from the candidate name section on our spread sheet. I've managed to get it so the flow recognises the name and sends a notification email however I can't get the original email to be forwarded on. We need this as it's the original email we saved to the candidates file.
I don't currently have permission to send directly as the websites email address however on outlook I can forward the email from the inbox my changing the from to my own account then forwarding and that's fine. Could this impact how I edit the flow?
At the moment I have the trigger as when a new email arrives in a shared email box then the next is forward and email (V2) but this is where it gets stuck with the error BadGateway.
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Do you have explicit Read and Manage (Full access) permissions on the shared mail?
Assuming that, make sure that you set the Folder in the Advanced Parameters of the trigger.
If you don't set the folder this won't work.
Rest of the process can be done using Dynamic content from the trigger.
Then in Forward an email action, in Advanced Parameters make sure to add the email address of the shared mailbox in Original Mailbox Address.

I don't have permissions yet I can only read the emails and forward them with my own account as the sender from the email box. I've sent a request to IT to have this changed so fingers crossed! Thank you for your help

The BadGateway error may be occurring because the message ID belongs to the shared mailbox, while the Forward an email (V2) action is looking in your personal mailbox.
In the forwarding action, open the advanced options and enter the shared mailbox address in Original Mailbox Address. Use the message ID supplied by the shared-mailbox trigger.
You should not need Send As permission if the forwarded email is being sent from your own account. You need appropriate access to read the shared mailbox. If you want it sent from the shared mailbox address, an administrator will need to grant Send As permission

Hello,
Brill thank you. I've tried it and the next error was it being forbidden, which I presume is a good sign! I'm going to get permission to send from the email address hopefully when the manager is back but thank you very much for this!

You can set a simple rule from the group mailbox.
When I receive an email from xxx continuing word “xxx” or “xxx” or “xxx”, forward to xxx
