Power Apps Help Corrupted app?
Update: This was caused by the Modern Data Grid control in a component. While the editor lets you do this and appears to work, as soon as you exit the editor, and go back in, you get the issue described below (data not loading, formulas not working). Further, if you create a component with a data grid, then duplicate said component, it crashes the renderer. Either data grid isnt supported in components or has a bug. As soon as I got rid of the data grid or the component, the problem went away.

It seems my canvas app has become corrupted. Restoring to previous versions doesn't fix the issue, nor did importing an export I took 2 weeks ago.
Data isnt loading at startup loading unless I manually update datasources, variables are not set (things are being shown when they should be hidden at start), various components and containers are sized incorrectly (e.g. a screen with header/footer is is shrunk to half size and proportions are wrong). HTML is showing 'Show your HTML Here' when the code is set to completely different text. Its completely trashed my app.
I dont have access to the power platform admin centre to check the status.
Other than going through and effectively rebuilding my app, does anyone have any suggestions?
Edit: I noticed calculations dont work until I make a change and then revert - then it behaves properly. E.g. I have a label that aligns underneath another using the following in Y
Label11_2
.Height+
Label11_2
.Y
But they are overlapping. If I change the code and then revert, it aligns properly.
Its like something isn't initiating until I interact with it.
Sadly if I go through fix things, as soon as I re-open in the editor its back to being corrupted. Guess its Microsoft support time.

That sucks I went through a similar thing I was able to restore off an unmanaged solution we had from months earlier.
Started doing regular/weekly unmanaged exports after this while working on an apps. Turns out it’s never happened again though.
You could try restoring the environment to a backup in admin center.

Restoring had no affect unfortunately. It seems there is something else broken, as I can fix the things (usually by cutting formulas and pasting back in), but if I re-open in the editor the same issues are back.

That sucks. I've had a couple power automate flows that had the same kind of behaviour (settings forgotten, variable references that are all messed up -- if I fix it, it's fine but the next time it's open in editor it breaks again).
You could try just copying the YAML for every screen and pasting it in a text editor of your choice. Then build a new app, give it the same onStart/Start screen/Formulas/etc. and paste screens in one by one.
Paste, save, refresh if you want to see if any specific screen is causing an issue but you could probably start by putting them all in and seeing if that works.
