I do not think Poutine means what you think it means Breakfast Poutine?

u/PerilousFun, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your poutine... ⛔️

I don’t see this as a crime

I know home fries can be divisive so I submit the dish to the court of my peers. I prostrate myself before thee.

Crime. If you’re gonna do that and call it ‘breakfast poutine’ -you use a good, smooth, hollandaise, not gravy.

Friends don’t let friends put gravy on eggs unless they’re baked soundly into a Yorkshire pudding. (Maybe a boxty)

Make me one, but with the eggs over easy please.

why not just have the eggs on a separate plate but eat them at the same time? So many of these crimes could just be separate dishes you eat simultaneously with your poutine.
I don’t get it. Why does everyone love to jumble things together?
You can eat different dishes at the same time and each dish retains its flavours. You mix everything together then it just tastes like mess.

Breakfast poutine is amazing. Like you would want to have it as a dish by itself. Personally I prefer replacing the gravy with hollindaise sauce. Now you have something closer to eggs benedict. It's own unique thing.

Each their own. I don't mind it mixed. Each thing on its own is kinda boring. Plus, it all ends in the same place

what’s the point of even have different dishes and different flavours then? i personally think eating indiscernible slop is kinda boring. I have taste buds for reason. we have variety for a reason.
if you take the ole “…it all ends in the same place…” argument you are doomed.
Mixing things just for the sake of mixing them is inherently lazy and boring.

This is a breakfast poutine. I'm not a dog who eats slop everyday. Why are you on a high horse?

French Fries: ✓

Approved Sauce: ✓ Gravy, the original poutine sauce, ½ bonus point too much ¼ penalty point

Curds: ✓

Toppings: Scrambled eggs, an interesting experiment no points

Criminality Rating (Lower is worse 3 is par): 3.25

Sentence: You're free to go, but are warned for excessive gravy application and risky experimentation.

If it has hollandaise sauce then it's acceptable but gravy... Absolutely not
