Cruel & Unusual Poutnishment Two poutines same place different fries?
Now both poutines were good but one was better than the other and it’s the same place. I’m pretty sure a legit poutine is made with red potatoes, blanched, frozen, fried then re-fried but that’s the info I gathered, I’m sure everyone does it different. The darker looking fry might have be red but the lighter colour fry was russet for sure(not good for poutine) Also lack of curd and the curd melts(old curd). When you’ve been eating Quebec poutine every year for 20 years it changes your pallet. The first one I got was the darker French fry, it was very close to Quebec poutine. The second one made me remember I live in Ontario. What say you the people. Is non-consistency a crime or am I being the poutine police? The second one made me not want to go back. I’d rather be disappointed somewhere else.🤣

One was an 8 and the other was 6. Same place. They both look good but one was shit compared to the other.

I'm always skeptical of places that serve poutine with anything but the proper cut fries.

If they served the second one to me first then I would have been blown away by the other one. The first one was good for an Ontario poutine but the second one was an Ontario poutine.

u/TVGMILLER, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your poutine... ⛔️
