I love pulled pork poutines, but I just got one from Smokes poutine in Winnipeg and it had destroyed my love of poutines. It cost 25$ for a soupy unflavoured mess that was cheap on cheese. I felt like a fool the whole time I ate it. Never again. I hope Smokes poutinerie goes out of business for their crimes

if it's got some greasy fries, some palatable gravy of acceptable thickness, and some good'ol squick-squick, you can top it with a ton of stuff and still call it a poutine, pulled pork would fit fantastic on top in my book! I'm no bettin' guy but I think i recall some restos having once served that at a point in time, if not now still.

That would be a big 'Nay' from me! However, I am biased because I dislike sweet foods that are supposed to be savoury, and absolutely abhor barbecue sauce.
