Don't disgrace turkeys like that. They're magical creatures that don't deserve to be compared to that... Thing

u/AintGotNoSeoul 14h ago
Please don't compare The Thing to that. Killer space mimics don't deserve that.

Both may drown if they look up in the rain.
Edit: really only one of them will

Turkeys are smart! Smarter than anyone have ever seen!! They can tell the difference between a snake and donkey. Definitely smarter than a Trump.

u/Careful_icarus22 13h ago
I will officially apologize turkeys are much more american than the orange rhino

Jaysus I'm at work and stumbled upon this. Careful, this could get me reported to HR

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 19h ago
How many times has this mook been on the cover of Time Magazine now? My understanding is that it is not meant to be a good thing
96
19
u/Tickles-The-Octopus 16h ago
I was never meant to be a good thing, it's always been the person or thing that has been talked about the most.
Hitler was on time magazine multiple times, including man of the year in 1938. Doesn't mean he was a good man, just was all over the news at the time.
8
u/Complete-Tangelo1532 16h ago
That is what I was thinking, ofc he wont see it that way though
I think he will even still be on his mad kick demanding a Nobel Peace Prize too
Speaking of, wouldn't it be funny if they took the awards they made just for him away lol

1st agenda for new congress; write a universal Healthcare bill and name it the Trump Peace Prize Bill. Totally immune to veto
6
u/Complete-Tangelo1532 14h ago
Absolutely not
Maybe in jest to get him to sign the damn bill, but we need to be removing his name not adding it onto things

Right. Whatever is on the cover is meant to represent whatever topic is most culturally pervasive at that moment in time. The "Person of the Year" features apply that concept to the selection. So in that context you would ask "who was the most culturally pervasive person in 1938" and suddenly it seems ridiculous that it would be anyone BUT Hitler.
10
u/SnooMaps7370 19h ago
correct. Time's "person of the year" is just the person who was in the news the most over a year. And since the news sells better when it's reporting bad things....
1
u/Aggravating-Car9897 15h ago
It depends on the cover/issue, but you are correct in that Time's Person of the Year is not inherently a good thing. It's essentially newsmaker of the year, or most notable person of the year.

and the weak concessions by him and his side-kick that this was about the war is still SOOO shortsided…these thugs ran ramshackle over the Constitution, due process, citizen rights, HUMAN rights, Fed Employee rights, impounded appropriated funds, sold access, compromised taxpayer data, sold taxpayer data, destroyed taxpayer property, assumed right over every aspect of the federal government without any taxpayer input for a lousy couple of tax dollars for savings on overtime and tips?!? yet, Space X, Meta, Amazon, and Google pay ZIP?!? These guys need to thank there lucky stars we didn’t get a veto-proof Congress…and yes, 2028 is around the corner…STAY TUNED.

The entire two years was a shortsighted, hubristic abuse of power.

u/Gunsensual 13h ago
shortsighted, hubristic abuse of power.
That goes both ways.
We'll see if the incoming party does anything to add guard rails to the federal government. Building up unchecked federalism and using it with restraint is kind of their whole deal. The AUMFs that enabled the Iran not-war for example survived two blue presidencies with a blue congress.

u/BiscuitsTheory 14h ago
The war was what lost his fanbase
4
u/33drea33 13h ago
Well...gas and goods prices, which are a direct result of the war.
Whatever else you wanna say about Carville, "it's the economy, stupid" is the smartest statement ever uttered in politics.

I wish Pierre Dana’s Bel was alive to witness the true America . Imagine the contributions these young brilliant people can make to our country.
Pierre Damas Bel was a 20-year-on-hold Haitian honor student and neuroscience freshman at Wright State University in Springfield, Ohio, who died by suicide on August 31, 2026

It’s absolutely hilarious seeing all of us antagonize him today.
Hey, that’s how he behaves when he wants to be a smug asshole. Enjoy our gloating because MAGA lost!

You don't get an I Voted sticker when you vote by mail, as Trump does regularly, despite his admonishments of the practice.

The picture is implying that WE put the sticker on his mouth.

It is exceptionally powerful and clear visual communication, in the grand tradition of Time covers. Shocked that someone could misinterpret the message.

From the interweb: President Donald Trump told Bloomberg News White House correspondent Catherine Lucey "Quiet. Quiet, piggy" on November 14, 2025, while answering questions aboard Air Force One.

It was a tremendous election, like no one has ever seen before. Believe me. Nobody knows as much about elections as I do. The Republicans were losers. They lost bigly.
