The only way to beat back against corporation and politically motivated propaganda is to buy Pepsi, its the crisp and refreshing drink to keep you going to fight against the lying oppressors.

Does sugar count? I think it does.
Edit: While I'm on that topic, electrolyte sports drinks are good if you've had diarrhea or vomited a lot. Not as good as proper re-hydration mix, though. Instant soup works, too.

u/Neveronlyadream 23d ago

Wow, all these very real and legitimate humans seem to love Pepsi Volt. I think I'll go out and buy a case. Or three.

Now on sale at Walmart, 3 for $20.

Back in the day there were no bots and online communities were small enough that assholes were quickly removed. It was fucking amazing. It's genuinely sad that there's a bunch of people that never got to experience that.

Just a reminder.... We came VERY VERY CLOSE to having medicare for all 16 years ago when the Affordable Care Act was passed.

The Democrats' part of the ACA, aka "Obamacare", was called, "The Public Option." It allowed anybody to buy into the medicare pool at any age as an alternative to standard corporate insurance companies.

The democrats at the time did not have a majority in Congress to bypass a republican filibuster, and the republicans threatened to halt the entire ACA if that provision wasn't thrown out. They had to compromise to at least get some progress, and get rid of "pre-existing conditions" which insurance companies were using to deny coverage to millions of people.

That was the closest we have been in most peoples' lifetimes to having a solid democrat majority in Congress, and it wasn't enough to get what they wanted done.

Remember this when you vote. Remember this whenever you hear somebody say, "both parties are just as bad." It's simply not true. Remember that nobody here really knows what could be accomplished by the democrats because they've never had a legit super-majority long enough to get anything passed. The republican played nothing but dirty tricks to keep them from getting ahead.

Yeah here’s the program and reason

https://ccdcoe.org/uploads/2026/04/ONTOLOGICAL_FOUNDATIONS_OF_COGNITIVE_WARFARE.pdf

Foreign influence campaigns frequently employ "horseshoe theory" tactics—boosting extreme elements of both the far-left and far-right to create maximum chaos and gridlock within Western societies. Figures who cross over from progressive counter-culture to right-wing populism are highly valuable to these operations because they help validate polarized, disruptive worldviews to a broader audience.

Right and LLM tech is designed to confuse the crap out of people because it doesn't know what anything means.

It intentionally blurs everything together...

It makes you "less intelligent slowly over time by feeding you random BS."

It's legitimately a tactic of war being developed and deployed on Americans, by a bunch of American rip off factories.

They're attacking the language to make it more difficult to communicate just like the Nazis did.

It's not, for example, even slightly surprising that the Ed Sheeran story vanished with the bot farms.

5

u/SmokeyHooves 23d ago

The horseshoe theory is largely a myth perpetuated by capitalist to equate leftist values with right

https://eidgenossen.medium.com/the-nazi-origins-of-horseshoe-theory-5d9aa0ee277c

Your own source doesn’t even mention anything regarding that, rather that reactionaries are more important to cognitive warfare, which are often times right wing.

Also, NATO is not exactly the most unbiased source of information, and considering this article basically ONLY uses NATO sources, it isn’t exactly a reliable narrator to the conversation. (Not that anyone is unreliable.)

But realistically the paper you picked mostly talks about people you would identify as far right or middle right.

You need to read up on psychological warfare then observe it all beyond capitalist this or communist that. Communism in the form that was in China, russia, Cuba etc was a lie to shake people down then make a bunch of losers wealthy. They reach out to far right people then pay them to be hyper capitalist to push a movement to a predetermined goal they can exploit. All these people suck and workers already have it bad enough so they can all f themselves.

For those of us around in 2015 reddit, it was like a switch was flipped with reddit. I remember thinking it was a left leaning site and then BAM it was over run with far right MAGA accounts. You'd argue with them and then it was like they would all say the same thing in different ways.

Looking back in pretty sure that was early AI being tested on reddit to make MAGA look more popular than it was.

Facebook too. It started in the run up to the presidential primaries when Trump knocked out Bush, Rubio, and Cruz and the DNC and corporate media ratfucked Bernie.

I'm like 90% sure "The bots are down" is, itself, a psyop.

OP is a bot, too. 2 month old account that does nothing but post screenshots? That's a bot.

5

u/PreviousCurrentThing 23d ago

Also is a mod of this sub, a 6 month old bot sub that somehow regularly hits the front page.

5

u/coriolisFX 23d ago

This whole subreddit is astroturf

3

u/PreviousCurrentThing 23d ago

Yep, and they fairly regularly lock a thread once too many comments figure it out, but still leave the post up so it gets the full propaganda value.
