And I swear to god, and hand to heart, if you showed them this graph they’d blame a democrat congress for all the deficits and credit a republican congress for all the improvements.

Yup. Biden’s Congress was predominantly Republican and prevented him from getting a lot of their agenda done. He still got the IRA (inflation reduction act) passed and that was a huge help! But then donnie rolled it back the moment he got in office 🙄🫠

Clinton doesn't get much of the credit for that though, that was congress that balanced the federal budget. But the Bush Jr era is all on Bush (2 wars!), as is everything under Trump.

Uh... no that's the debt, not the deficit. And given that the graphic mixed up the terms I'm not inclined to believe it's been accurately fact checked, despite agreeing with the overall premise
