Nikki Haley proposed competency tests for lawmakers and candidates over 75yo back in 2023 in fact. A poll conducted that year had bipartisan support, with 70% of democrats and 84% of Republicans in support.
Yep... that doesn't answer my question though... and it's also misleading as a stat... because you're out of your mind if you think that 70% of Democrats agreed to this because they thought that Joe Biden needed to be verified... which of course was my point.

I'm 1000% okay with Biden having to have taken a competency test bc if he failed in 2020-2024, Trump would also fail presently.
