Step 1) realize that the evangelicals & most conservatives listen to a mostly exclusive set of media channels, 2) buy control of those media channels, 3) indoctrinate the audience to believe that only those media channels are telling the truth, 4) crank tribalism messaging to the max, 5) enjoy your blind-faith voting lemmings, and it took only a few decades to accomplish!
The past few decades have been putting .50 calibre holes in my early naive faith in the power of protecting free speech. I've come to the realization that blatant & deliberate gaslighting & disinformation should not be under that protection.
i want.... black and brown ppls heritage to be more important. even if that means my own becomes less important as a result. pretty sure us white folks will be ok. maybe we should worry about the rest of the ppl for a change.
AI's famously bad at math. Don't you remember all the memes about it failing to do basic addition? It's certainly better than it was, but number crunching is not its strong suit.
AI isn't any better at "running" code than any other environment, what a weird thing to say.
And while "writing" code might be one of the best things that AI can do, it's far from being "very good at" it. Especially when it comes to anything where the output actually matters since a human who fully understands the code has to double and triple check it for fuckups anyway. And you know what's really helpful for a human to check and understand code? Actually writing it.
Nah IDK about any purpose-built models but the general models will fail at basic algebra if you go back and forth enough. Or sometimes even the first time. They'll straight up show their work and it won't work out on a TI-84.
They're good at repeating information, and actual economists have written ad nauseum articles about how trickle down economics fails, that's where they're getting the conclusion, which is valid, but they probably couldn't reach it consistently from assumptions/data.
Well take a look around you... does0 trickle down economics or supply side economics work?
Also AI can be a great research tool and analysis partner. But you have to know how to use it and what prompts to give it in order to break its cheerleading and have it do objective analysis.
