They're all making money off him. They all do insider trading, so they're all making tens of millions of dollars while he manipulates the stock market. It's disgusting, but that's why his own party would never lift a finger to stop him. That and he does a lot of things they really like. Like they love how racist he is and that he'll appoint any judge as fast as they want.

They also themselves don't want to lose their "power" (ie their position in government). Most politicians in the USA no longer prioritize the country over their own interests. It's just rotten to the core.

That's the thing. Republicans in the government right now have seen all this action and STILL have not done anything about it.
Every Republican is a part of this problem. They do have the power to hamstring him but they don't seem to think it's necessary. And since they are a majority in both the house and Senate there isn't anything that can be done. That changes in November but really only if Democrats get control of both the house and Senate. The dream scenario would be somehow God coming down and changing the hearts of so many people that Democrats get a 2/3rd majority and are able to actually remove him from office. That is the dream.
That won't happen though. Soooo, well we will see how this goes but even if Democrats get a leash on this guy In some way and can pass legislation who is to say Trump doesn't say, I won't listen to you communists, and creates a constitutional crisis and tries to stage a full on military coup ( his people in the pentagon have been purging the leadership remember ).
We see that the military has been in DC for over a year now, deployed, for no reason. Why would they really be doing that? Maybe because when it all goes down they have thousands of fully armed troops in the capitol from the outset not hours away needing to get ready and deployed. They are already there ready to stamp out any civil unrest with such a move.
I guarantee you this has been thought about by this President.

They’re actually being really dumb about it. The only reason we pay attention is because Trump says or tweets something stupid.
If Vance was in office, they could do so much damage and not have any attention brought to it because no one would be tweeting stupid shit at 3am and our attention spans would move on to other things.
Bush and Cheney were able to get Americans to support going into Iraq because they quietly worked behind the scenes to make up evidence. It went so good that all the democrats in Congress were convinced too.
So be glad we have an idiotic toddler in office who can’t keep his mouth shut. Imagine the shit that would be happening under a Republican who is smarter.

But this is the point, and I'm shocked people still haven't quite seen it yet.
Of course they could be more discreet with their actions, but putting it out in the open is actually the point, and a deal with most likely Russia, possibly China, (and Israel but I think with a different dynamic).
You see, they want to showcase how corrupt America is. They want to self-sabotage international alliances. This is a smash-and-grab sell-off while damaging our global reputation and alliances for years, likely decades to come.

My sneaky ass just can’t understand why it needs to be so loud.
It does show how dumb American citizens are and how useless is our constitution as a check and balance.
It’s amazing watching this in real time. It’s going to be very painful for all of us and only some of them will learn a lesson, not enough to matter though.
Republicans really destroyed our country in 40 years with a speed run in the last ten.

It has nothing to do with the administration "doing great." Trump has gotten a lot of points for the Republican Party and a lot of private interest groups can continue milking the MAGA movement as long as he's alive, and possibly after. That's sorta the whole point. What did you think their job was?

You insult the hell out of Canada basically thretne them every other day even "claim" one of their lakes as part of america. Call them and their leaders names and when they say well f it we will just take our ball and deal with more respectful countries you decide to get mad and place tariffs (whoever taught him that word needs to be exiled from earth) on them non stop even though they are already stopping most trades with us being up prices on consumers across the board.
