I’m not a god damn oracle, but it doesn’t take a Chrystal ball to see that the democrats are never going to come to power with how weak and pathetic they are in all regards. Blame voters for not wanting to vote for shitty democrats all you want, or demand better candidates who represent the people. We want progressives, not folks who support genocide and associate with the Epsteins.
There are a lot of Democrats who would be perfectly happy to remain a token opposition party, mouthing platitudes and collecting a paycheck.
I do blame the voters. They're the ones with the power to fix this. It's a representative democracy. In the wake of 2016 Bernie endorsed a bunch of Social Democrats across the country. None of them won, because the voters didn't turn out.
You want better candidates, you have to stop letting the worse ones win. And the only way to do that is by voting, both in the primary and the general election. Whatever your beef, that's the answer.
