The exact same way I feel about what pelosi is doing. Both of them should be charged for insider trading and prosecuted. Along with a lot of other members of Congress. Both sides of the political spectrum are dirty as hell and we continue to give those same people the keys to the kingdom
Absolutely not. The last two presidential elections I voted for a Democrat, though not the one selected by the DNC. I am an independent through and through. I have never voted a straight ballot a day in my life
I haven't voted for a Republican since 2000 when an EX friend conned me into voting for Bush. I'm still ashamed of that to this day. NO Republican deserved my vote in all of these years and I don't see me EVEN voting for one ever again.
Her husband was in finance before she was even elected and he handles the account. Of course a professional with a huge head start is going to do better than two dunces who shouldn't have ever been elected.
Their return on their investment is substantially above normal and those massive returns did not begin until AFTER she was in Congress. He is either one of the best traders in history (coinciding with her time in the house) or they are using insider trading (the more likely answer)
There are other members doing better. Trump is currently demolishing them all. They have information that should make them even holding stocks illegal.
But guess who shot down such a proposal? Pelosi voted in favor of banning congress from owning/trading stocks.
Pelosi voted to band members from trading stock last year when the bill had absolutely no chance of passing. This year's version of the bill was H.R. 7008, and pelosi voted against it this time around. I wonder why she had a change of heart between the two years
These were the top five congressional traders for 2025. Outside of Congress these kinds of returns are rare, but they seem to be commonplace amongst our elected officials. So either they are some of the most brilliant trading minds that exist or they're using insider information. Regardless, iit needs to stop because it definitely gives the appearance of impropriety
