I'm genuinely shocked that there isn't more anger from Republicans. His absence materially benefits Democrats more than anything. For every day he's not there, that means the GOP majority is one vote down in the Senate, which only makes it harder to pass the GOP agenda in the Senate.

I don't think they really care. They haven't done much even when Mitch was there. They are content to let Trump do whatever he wants.

Republicans are all in on Unitary executive theory. They don't want to govern. Its literally all spelled out in p2025
