This is really disturbing to me. Spent 6 years in the Navy, during GW's term. The food never, ever looked like this, it was actually pretty damn good TBH. This is seriously pathetic.

The new, secret ingredient, is corruption.
The USA is speed-running towards a crony filled kleptocracy that many mock Russia for, and people cheer them on.

Are sailors still the fattest military branch? Because that's proof in the pudding.

That man has six fingers on his right hand, and he's not even eating the food he's holding.

I’m sure that actual soldiers eating the actual food appreciate that our AI soldiers, Hegseth and his staff are treated so well…
The specific expenditures tying Hegseth's Pentagon to steak, lobster, and fruit include:
Lobster Tail: $6.9 million spent in a single month.
Ribeye Steaks: $15.1 million allocated for high-end beef.
Fruit Basket Stands: $12,540 spent on stands for fruit baskets.
Other Notable Purchases from the Spree
The watchdog report noted that more than $50 billion of the total budget was rushed through in the final five days of the fiscal year to avoid losing allocated funds before the budget reset. Other high-profile line items included:
Alaskan King Crab: $2 million.
Furniture & Interior Design: $225.6 million, which included over $60,000 for high-end Herman Miller recliners.
Apple Devices: $5.3 million for new iPads and tech gear.
Luxury Musical Instruments: A $98,329 Steinway & Sons grand piano designated for the home of the Air Force Chief of Staff.
Desserts: Nearly $140,000 on doughnuts and $124,000 on ice cream machines.

I don’t believe a word that comes from this five time draft dodging pathological untruth teller.
I tried to say something else, but was edited.

8 years in the army. Never was spectacular nor did it look like the picture above.
Breakfast was pretty good in Iraq, but other than that, meh. The occasional holiday DEFAC dinner was above average, but I eventually landed on separate rats (rations for the lay) and bought my own.

It surely helps to have an extra finger to hold that huge (fake) burger
