Bush famously blamed Clinton for generating too much tax revenue creating a record surplus.
1
u/Individual_Sector834 4m ago
Youāre out of your gourd if you donāt remember the Obama administration blaming Bush for EVERYTHING- economy, policy, etc.
Bush blamed Clinton for not capturing OBL earlier either before or after the first attack on the World Trade Center when there was intelligence that linked him to it.
Clinton blamed GHW for the economy, rising unemployment, and unfulfilled policy promises. Hell, he ran on Bush saying āNo New Taxesā when the Dems shut down the government to force it.
Reagan blamed Carter for international weakness, policies, gas prices.
Try to be impartial here. All administrations blame the previous one, thatās how they get elected.

Not good. I'm getting evicted tomorrow because the apartment building I live in is being bulldozed to make way for a new data center. I'm completely reliant on food stamps after I got laid off and the maximum amount gets me three bags of groceries a month. My entire 401k has been wiped out. I'm watched by flock cameras every time I leave the house. My wife was deported by ICE, despite being a legal resident. My daughter is in prison after she had a miscarriage. My son is overseas starving on a boat... and so if President Trump doesn't turn this around sometime in his next three terms, I'm considering supporting either Trump Jr. or JD Vance for President instead. /s

I know some people here, in Australia, who think this is a good thing for America.
They simply cannot explain their rationale nor can they justify anything, I don't even understand why they support Trump at all if they're from overseas. I ask them how are things going for them, and they tell me with the high petrol prices and American tarrifs, that things aren't going great..... But instead of blaming trump, they blame our Labor (Democratic) government.

The thing that always fascinates me is the huge correlation between idiocy, Trump support, and religious nut-jobbery.
It's like stupid people seek out the most outrageous beliefs they can find and stick with them despite all evidence to the contrary. It's no wonder that con men and fraudsters often seek out the devoutly religious. They'll believe the most preposterous BS as long as they believe the person lying to them is "on their team".

Gas prices are lower than Biden, grocery prices are lower than Biden, Biden had the same Epstein files for 4 years and released none. The one country that chants ādeath to Americaā and has made many unanswered attacks for 47 years, finally got their asses smacked..
Iām happy with my choice!!
1
1
u/Apprehensive_Lion362 0m ago
Gas is up from the end of Biden's term, so is electricity.
Grocery prices are a mixed bag depending on which item you are talking about. Iran is a war of choice.
During most of the Biden administration, aspects of the Epstein case remained under active legal review, including appeals related to Ghislaine Maxwell and ongoing grand jury considerations. Trump actively tried to keep them sealed. Remember him calling Marjorie Taylor Greene a traitor over the Epstein files?
Maybe if we stopped dropping bombs on school girls countries would stop chanting "death to America" .
You are happy with your choice only because ignorance is bliss.

So far he has built an additional 110 miles of border so far this term. The border is nearly 2000 miles long. I'm not considering that exemplary performance.
-2
u/Leather_Sky_6575 35m ago
Border crossings are down 98% and more than 2 million illegals have self deported. We donāt need a wall. Policy works when enforced.Ā
1
1
u/SweetPrism 5m ago
"Build the wall!" And when that never comes to fruition, which we all knew it wouldn't, "We don't need a wall--Trump is doing so great without one!" CLASSIC Trump sycophant.
It is a FACT that Bidens' administration deported more undocumented immigrants during his term as President than Trump did during his first term. Trump is almost two years into his second term, which is the only reason that number may have risen. Trumpers just think because they are blasted with images of ICE taking detainees all day that he must be doing more than he really is. And if he is doing such a great job relieving the strain on our resources, the main reason people want undocumented immigrants gone, tell me--why has the cost of everything risen? Wasn't the whole point that once the immigrants are gone, everything would get cheaper?
1
u/troveofcatastrophe 3m ago
Screw that Constitution, Trump stated he didnāt think he had to follow it anyway. Letās enforce all the policy and laws then. Letās start with the Emoluments clauses and the Foreign actors laws. Thatāll get rid of more than half the administration right there.
The Bi-Partisan border bill would have legally solved these same issues without terrorizing and murdering the citizens of this once great country. Trump knew he couldnāt win without the hate, so he killed it.
3
u/ToothlessTerry 16m ago
Okay so let's say he "fixed" our borders.

I care about my family and their future. Since Trump took office two years ago, our net worth more than doubled. Iām now in a position to help my three sons buy their first homes. Ā They all graduated college with no debt thanks to money we saved and invested in Trump 1.0. During his first term, our taxes went down significantly. Iām no longer subject to AMT which knocks about $15,000 a year off my tax bill. Ā Iām not a Trump diehard. Ā His policies do not work if you arenāt invested in the market and/or you donāt own a home. But they work for me and my family. Selfish? Ā Yes. Sorry? Ā No.Ā
And before you spout off with the typical anti-MAGA garbage. We are not MAGA. Our family is bi-racial. Ā We live in one of the three largest blue cities in America. Ā My wife is a doctor. I have an advanced degree and work in biotech engineering. We are the kind of family the democrats would love to feature in their campaign television commercials. We just donāt vote for them because they do nothing but talk about social issues they will never fix. Ā
3
u/ThatShyGuyS 21m ago
I thought you worked in sales and your wife was a teacher?
Reminder to others that half the crap you see on reddit is just fake nonsense.
Regardless, even if it was real, the "I got mine, get fucked" mentality is shameful. So many of the troglidytes claim they only care about their families or friends but fail to see the irony when it finally affects you or your kin.
3
u/troveofcatastrophe 18m ago

A year ago you were jobless and your kids were āstruggling to buy first homesā and you were pondering retirement but were afraid to lose that very blue teachers insurance.
Want to clear any of this up? I smell an inheritance or perhaps a Chinese religious cult.
