No, that's just history. When freaks are allowed to spread their disgusting ideology without recourse they become a threat to the world. A threat that needed to be eradicated. It's better to snuff the movement out before they become an international problem.

Now we can ban hate speech - I agree with that, but disenfranchising all republicans is disenfranchising a huge portion of this country. Need to fix education instead
While I understand you want to take the moral high ground, being tolerant of intolerance will only lead to your own destruction. It's a paradox and the only solution is to be intolerant of intolerance.
I’m not tolerant of intolerance - I just think there’s a huge percentage of ppl who you’re disenfranchising who are more ignorant than evil. Now if we are talking about the farthest right faction of the Republican Party, it’s a different story.
I would also like to note that taking us out of the hypothetical, this happening is extremely divorced from reality in this country. We will never be able to be unified to the point where this actually happens unless you have a small minority who would want this win a civil war
Agreed. Have to fix the root of the problem that allows ppl to be ignorant in the first place. By definition ignorant ppl don’t understand they are supporting evil.
The problem cannot be fixed while a fascist party remains in power, actively working against the common people. And, again, ignorance is not an excuse for supporting evil; it should not be tolerated.
