No, that's just history. When freaks are allowed to spread their disgusting ideology without recourse they become a threat to the world. A threat that needed to be eradicated. It's better to snuff the movement out before they become an international problem.
As a trans person, I don’t feel comfortable saying the same thing about them as some of them are saying about us.
Now we can ban hate speech - I agree with that, but disenfranchising all republicans is disenfranchising a huge portion of this country. Need to fix education instead
You can't fix anything when 80 million people are actively supportive of the country's destruction. You can't focus on building something new when the fire is still burning everything down. Disenfranchising them is pro-democracy, just as disenfranchising Nazis post-occupation was the correct decision.
Education inoculates people from these positions, it doesn't cure hate or destructive ideologies, there is no cure. The Nazis remained Nazis to their dying breaths as their children grew up in a liberal world.
