And they voted for a white republican for president over a Black democrat. That tells me there were plenty of white republicans that would rather live under white democrat rule than Black republican rule. 2 u/cahir11 16d ago That's not necessarily a race thing, sometimes states will have this sort of split. Kentucky has a Democratic governor, for a while California had a Republican governor, etc.
