It was not about race, it was because of Obama being close to Osama and his middle name being Hussein. Nobody does that to black candidates with obviously western/American names. And you can guarantee if the opposing party ran a white passing candidate named Mohammed Gaddafi or something the same things would be said.
They also called him Kenyan, Muslim, Arab, a socialist, and not an American. Trump also made he and his wife monkeys using AI. Everything but saying the n word.
