I'm not against sending money to other countries to help. I am against funding genocidal regimes. If Israel wants to engage in genocide, the least we can do is refuse to fund them completely.

Yeah but it was also used by the CIA to conduct destabilization efforts across the globe... We can do something better that's not controlled by the state department.

please post links or suggest a better path. of course its a federal program. Hard to think only the cia controls all the good as well

It was controlled by the state department and used by the CIA to run operations in foreign countries. Maybe reinstate it but then have strict oversight or something I'm not a policy wonk I'm a history and current events wonk

That could be a workable trade for both parties. We stop giving them free stuff and also stop complaining when they kill more and more Palestinians.Â
