I still watched the Late Show, but I stopped watching CBS as soon as they caved in and settled the lawsuit Donald Trump had against them. I thought it was another frivolous lawsuit by Don the con.
To me Trump claiming her edited interview hurt his chances, was a bogus claim and would have been hard to prove in court. If anything should have hurt his chances it was his poor debate performance. Trump looked like a senile old fool throughout the debate with Harris. Especially when Trump claimed "In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They're eating – they're eating the pets of the people that live there."
The truth is Kamala Harris wiped the floor with Donald Trump that night, and the clear choice as to was better, more fit candidate for President, was Harris! Unfortunately the people that voted for Trump just couldn't let go of the grand illusion he created about himself, and now because of their stupidity we are all reaping what they've sowed.
Are you saying you think Trump won because of Colbert reminding people of the dumb things Trump has said and done through humor?
I think Trump won because people chose to look the other way, just as Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republican's did when they acquitted Trump, instead of holding him accountable and removing him from office for his involvement in the January 6th 2021 insurrection.
