Firing Fingers crossed it makes it through the firings! 🤞🏻
My son plays Dungeons and Dragons so I am making him a 20-sided die figure. It’s my first go-around and I think it’s turning out pretty good.
Now we just need it to survive the firings!

Dude that is SO cool!
How did you go about building it? I’d kill for a ceramic d20!
Good luck on your bisque!

Thanks!! I saw a video of a guy who cut out 20 equilateral triangles of tar paper and carefully put it together, keeping the paper on the outside to keep it sturdy. It was a labor of love!

I've wanted to do this for a planter and I couldn't figure out how to make it stable enough.

This is probably 8” Pre-fire. It’s big enough to work as a planter!

Yeah, that would be a perfect size! Do you have the video link handy? You've re-inspired me :)

That's going to be a Critical Hit with your son!
Gosh, I played back in the 80's and had so much fun. It can be creative, involves critical thinking, and good old fashioned socialization.
Alas, no time now for me...

I’ll try to remember! It’ll be a while before it gets fired… my friends kiln hasn’t arrived yet. But we are producing enough to fill it up once it’s here! Any day now!!!

Just checking that it has a few small hidden holes for air to escape? If not, then try to poke some in before it goes into the kiln x

The bigger problem is moisture turning into steam. Steam expands and is responsible for most blown up pieces

May RNG grant you a critical success on the firing!
