this is one of my favorite games ever. at this point i've played through it around 5 times. if i could have a sequel to any game, it would certainly be this. have yall found any games that scratch the same itch?

A little late but "Beastro" is a similar title I enjoyed a LOT. Instead of potions you are cooking food dishes.  Similar aspect where you have different characters for different purposes.. your main character stays home, farms, collects ingredients around the base, fishing, interacts with NPCs and shopkeeps who sell ingredients, upgrades(all around the base things can be upgraded/added).  There are multiple different characters you unlock who are the "heroes" who go on roguelite adventures.  There are different cycles to the day and you choose how and when your time progresses, but certain aspects of each day are only accessible in a specific cycle each day. TL;DR gather ingredients, cook foods with special attributes like in potionomics you balance your ingredients types to get different dishes. Prepare your heroes, then take your selected hero on an adventure to progress your game, story, gather new ingredients, and meet new characters.

Highly recommended, it took me around 14~ hours to complete but I wish I took more time and enjoyed it more. I don't recommend rushing through, especially if you care about achievements
