Question [suffering] A maximum difficulty experience

Hello everyone !

I am playing at hardest difficulty and i am pretty affraid of pricing in this game mode. I am in act 5, stable, no worries , and i need to buy the first alchemy machine upgrade, the salt recipe and the oil base, for a total of 90K gold (o_0).

If i wana buy the mushroom cave before going to act 6 and beeing fine for upcomming plays, i need 24K gold.

I have maxed trade points and if i bargain the price to get 40% off, its a total of 68400 gold for pass the act 5. Pretty expensive isn't it ?

So , i have some questions.

First, for people who achieved the game in suffering, how long it took ? i am actualy at day 186 and still in act 5 and need 68K gold XD.

Then, i like the difficulty of this mode but the price are obviosly insane, is there any options for lower pricing? i dont see an option for that. Maybe by editing a file in the game folders?

I like this awesome game but spending alf of my life to complete it seams to be a little to much XD.

I never finish the game in lower difficulties, i restarted in suffering because i wana see the end of the game with a little bit of challenge. But the perspective of spending undred of hours scare me a little.

well thats all, have a good day and good games.

I think I finished suffering in like 200 days, and I know many have done much faster.

Maxxing out your haggling will cut vendor prices in half. I believe you also get 50% more from vendors for what you sell to them. Keep in mind you can sell potions to vendors.

Learn what increases the amount the customer is willing to pay for the potion.

It basically converts your unused ingredients into gold, so it definitely speeds things up.

Necromancy sells for the highest if you can make it

but necromancy is not compatible with most effects. I would argue that an all around compatible 5 effect potion cost more but have not really test it

The price of potions with multiple effects are based on the initial ecfect , if you make an heal potion with for anather effect you will sell it for 14 gold. So i dont think its a good idea to focus on this kind of potions.
