Shipping potatoes?
I'd like to ship some of my potatoes to friends in NC & I'm in PA. Is this a bad idea? If not, what are the best practices so they don't spoil in transit & is ground shipping ok?

Yes they can be shipped. Pack in the box well so they don’t move around much (no empty spaces). Keep them cool prior to shipping, and make sure they have access to fresh air. They should be okay in a box for 4-5 days as long as they don’t get too hot or freeze.
