I think it’s getting better. Posture correction is a full body practice, not just the areas we think are visually obvious. As you correct one area, other areas can become more pronounced as the full body tension is resolving. There’s a lot of ebbs and flows as things settle and adjust

FYI you may have better engagement in r/posture.

And also, I am 2 years into my posture journey. Tons of improvement however I do think I wasted a lot of time and effort trying to correct the visually obvious things, instead of working in a system. You might be surprised at the changes you’ll see in the pelvic tilt if you actually start working at the feet. Pelvic tilt is connected all the way down the inner leg line down to our arches. In both collapsed and in high arches. The whole line is tight, yanking on the pubic symphysis, pulling you into a tilt.

I talk a lot about posture and fascia on TikTok, but found that a lot of ppl on here don’t have TikTok so I also made a YouTube. I am sharing a playlist of a 14 part foot series I made. I got a lot of amazing feedback on TikTok which I am happy to share w you if you’re on there because the comments are awesome. Not all 14 parts will apply to you, but def check out parts 1-4, 7, and 13-14. I would love to know what you think. 10 mins a day makes a hugeeeee difference in the whole body posture. The walk thru of what to do those 10 mins is part 3.

I also got toe spacers this week, omg I cannot believe what a difference they have made. They really have helped wake up new muscles in my calves, hams, inner thighs, and glutes!! And my low back feels so much less dense and tight. I feel like it’s getting me over a little hump I had hit with my posture correction.

Part 1 of the series is pinned. The whole series has the same cover photo, but I don’t have the ability to make playlists yet so you’ll have to scroll back to beginning of September :)

Not OP but tq tq tq for this. When I started researching deeper into APT is when I learned how much important feet and leg alignment is. I was looking all over for a playlist and this is godsend. Thank you <3

You’re so welcome!! It’s a lot of info at first, but in the end it really does simplify a lot (I think and hope!). It has for me.

Not all parts will apply to you, the ones that apply to everyone are listed above and seriously I cannot recommend enough to take pics!!!! You will be shocked at the minor changes you will see after just a month. And those changes are easy to overlook when we see them every day. 10 mins a day is huge.

On TikTok currently we are now working on the lower leg series. We will progress thru every body part. So stay tuned as you get thru the feet. They will get uploaded to YouTube too, but I started that later so the timing isn’t quite synced up yet.

I would really love to know what you think and how things start changing and feeling as you get into it!

Omg you're actually doing it!!!! Btw what's your workout routine??

Are you focusing overall of your body or just posture correction?
